Please be certain to choose workshops that are identified with the following statement: “xnumber of CE Credit Hours for Psychologists” if you wish to receive credit for a workshop..

 

PRE-CONFERENCE PEER-REVIEWED WORKSHOPS

Registration and fee payment for CEs can be made on-line during registration or at the Continuing Education desk when signing in for the conference. If your IAAGT Conference CE Attendance Log is not in your folder when you check in, blank ones are available at the CE desk.

Workshops and programs for which you wish to obtain CE credit must be attended in their entirety.  It is necessary for you to carry the Attendance Log with you to all programs for which you want CE credit. At the completion of each workshop or training session, it is essential that you have the presenter initial your log.

All CE registrants are also required to complete evaluations for every program attended in order to receive CE credit. You will receive an online link to the evaluation form.  When you have turned in your Attendance Log and submitted your online evaluation form, your CE certificate will be emailed to you.

 

CRITERIA FOR GRANTING CE CREDIT HOURS TO PSYCHOLOGISTS

The following are some of the criteria required for AAGT’s granting CE credit hours:

  • Program content must be at a level that builds upon a completed doctoral program in psychology.
  • Credit is awarded only for actual instructional time.
  • Educational learning objectives must clearly describe what participants are expected to learn AND how participants can apply this knowledge in practice or other professional contexts.
  • Each session must have its own stated learning objectives and be evaluated separately.
  • Variable credit for partial attendance may not be awarded.
  • Each program’s content is informed by recent peer reviewed journal articles related to the topic of the workshop.
  • Participants must be informed of any conflict of interest, limitations, and risks.

 

CCEs for COACHES

The International Coach Federation (ICF) may allow Resource Development CCEs for a workshop or session, it if meets the criteria: Training in skills that contribute to a coach’s professional development (e.g., personal development, coaching tools or assessments, business building, or other material that falls outside the ICF Core Competencies.)  Ethically, if you believe a workshop/session qualifies for ICF Resource Development hours, please sign your name, email address, workshop or session title on the sheet provided at the Continuing Education desk, and IAAGT will send you a letter that complies with ICF requirements for Resource Development hours.

Note: It is the participants’ responsibility to check with their own state licensure/credentialing boards, or other boards not listed in the provider statement, to determine if CE credit  hours earned for any program at this conference will be accepted by them.

 

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES

In order to receive an Attendance Certificate via e-mail, the following is necessary:

  • Request was made for an Attendance Certificate during your registration process.
  • Due to various countries’ requirements that require attendance at the entire conference, you must also sign your name and e-mail address on the sign-out sheet available on Sunday morning at the Continuing Education Desk, in order to receive your Attendance Certificate.
  • There is no fee for this. You will receive your Certificate via e-mail following the conference.
